Turn your previously loved wool sweaters into a beautiful decoration for your winter holidays! This stacked wool tree is a fun and friendly project that will become welcome décor year after year or a treasured gift. Add to your ‘forest’ once you learn the technique of upcycling thrifted pieces. This could easily become a tribute of carefully selected heirloom textiles!
In the class you will learn to create the structural base for your tree and how to carefully cut the graduated squares to form the shape of the tree. You will use needle felting techniques to form the star for the crowning topper.
Class supplies must be purchased from Silk Road Textiles, either in store or through the SRT Online Marketplace. By using our high quality products, you know that you have the right tools and fibers to set you up for success, and we can keep our class prices down.
