The yarns showcased here are generally classified as Sport Weight (2). Sport Weight and Fingering Weight yarns are close in size with Sport Weight yarn being slightly thicker. These two weights are sometimes considered to be interchangeable with one another, so many of our yarns will show up in both categories but will have the correct Craft Yarn Council standard weight listed. Both are used in a wide variety of projects in which a light weight fabric is desired.
