Fun and talented master weaver Rosario Salazar returns this Saturday, July 31, for a weaving demonstration before she returns to Colombia in early August. Rosario Salazar is an award-winning Colombian fashion designer, inspired by manual arts, slow fashion, and ancestral art.  Her internationally known brand is stamped by her unique artisanal loom work techniques, her focus on sustainable and ethical practices, and its reflection of the origins of Colombian art, flora, and fauna. She collaborates with other Colombian artisans, including  the Wayúu, a traditional, historical, indigenous community known as the people of the sun, sand, and wind, that live in the La Guajira peninsula, a desert area in the northeast of Colombia.  Rosario and her collaborators create fashion and accessories that are truly magical!
