This is a great first project for the beginner or those wishing to brush up on their sewing machine skills. It's both functional and makes a fun gift. Using two different cuts totaling one yard of fabric, students will create a banded bed pillow case using basic sewing skills. Choose fabric yourself in the store to match your style! Student must be able to operate a sewing machine for basic stitching.
This class is appropriate for adults and teens ages 16 and up only. For younger students (ages 8 and up), check out our kids' sewing classes!
Class supplies must be purchased from Silk Road Textiles, either in store or through the SRT Online Marketplace. By using our high quality products, you know that you have the right tools and fibers to set you up for success, and we are able to keep our class prices down.

3/4 yards main fabric
1/4 yard band fabric
Thread
Sulky Blendables thread for top stitching (optional, but fun!)
You will also need basic sewing supplies (sewing machine, pins, snips). A sewing machine from SRT can be reserved at registration for no extra cost.
