A set of cloth napkin is a great project for beginner-sewers to master.  They are terrific for entertaining and gift-giving. Gift as is or embellish for a more personalized look.  The finished product is undeniably colorful and useful...ALL YEAR ROUND!

Mitered corners are a basic skill for new sewers to perfect.  In class you will use a rotary cutter, ruler and mat to cut precise squares.  Then measure, fold, press, stitch, and trim to create tailored, professional mitered cornered napkins.

100% cotton or100%  linen are the best fabrics for napkins and other table linens. Both fabrics are easy to work with and offer a lot of flexibility and durability. Firm quilt cottons will also work for more casual table fare.

Once the Mitered Napkin has been mastered, taking on a tablecloth, runner, apron or drapery panel with the same finished edge is the next logical step!

Class supplies must be purchased from Silk Road Textiles, either in store or through the SRT Online Marketplace. By using our high quality products, you know that you have the right tools and fibers to set you up for success, and we can keep our class prices down.
