The Donny Shirt is a boxy pull-on top that is designed to be a workhorse in your wardrobe. It is a dartless top with a lapel and patch pocket. The Donny is a great everyday top that can be worn with practically anything.
"New to apparel" sewists will learn to add sleeves using the shirt sleeve method and how to apply a lapel collar.
This class is designed for experienced beginning sewists. To be successful in this class and to be able to repeat the process at home, you should know how to read a pattern and its instructions and how to lay out your fabric for cutting, including understanding the concept of the right and wrong sides of the fabric.
Of course, students must be proficient using a sewing machine, including how to change settings and set up your machine for sewing.
