SRT's Teens Sewing Institute (TSI) continues with TSI 102, a three part series in which teens will learn how to sew a simple garment.  This class is for teens only, and they will be able to choose between a couple of simple garment patterns from 100 Acts of Sewing to start with, either Skirt #1, Top #1, or Pants #1. Students will learn to read and use a pattern, an essential skill for sewing clothes!

Students must have completed TSI 101 or Kids' Beginning Sewing at Silk Road Textiles.

Class supplies must be purchased from Silk Road Textiles, either in store or through the SRT Online Marketplace. By using our high quality products, you know that you have the right tools and fibers to set you up for success, and we are able to keep our class prices down.

Supplies:

Pattern-choose between 100 Acts of Sewing Skirt #1, Top #1, or Pants #1
Midweight woven fabric, such as linen, cotton, or natural blend fiber
     2.5 yards for Skirt #1 or Pants #1
     1.5-2 yards for Shirt #1
1.5 yards of 3/4" elastic for Skirt #1 or Pants #1
Coordinating Metrosene thread
