Dress up and dress down your spring wardrobe with the Cashmerette Calder Pants & Shorts (sizes 12-32). These are wide-legged woven trousers in 3 length options: mid-calf, full and shorts. Pattern features elastic back waistband and faced in-seam pocket. Get better fit results with 2 pelvis options: a dartless “apple” fit or darted back “pear” fit.

This class is designed for sewers who have made a garment before. To be successful in this class and to be able to repeat the process at home, you should know how to read a pattern and its instructions and how to lay out your fabric for cutting, including understanding the concept of the right and wrong sides of the fabric.

Of course, students must be proficient using a sewing machine, including how to change settings and set up your machine for sewing.

Class supplies must be purchased from Silk Road Textiles prior to the first day of class. By using our high quality products, you know that you have the right tools and fibers to set you up for success, and we are able to keep our class prices down. Supplies must be purchased prior to the first day of class so you have time to wash and dry the fabric beforehand. Also, you will not miss valuable class time gathering supplies.

Supplies needed for class (see pattern for fabric amount needed for your measurements and pattern options):
