Embellish It!

Learn the art of Nuno felting with this hands-on felting class! Nuno felting is a wet felting technique that creates a very lightweight felted fabric. Students will layer silk and wool to create a uniquely beautiful scarf that can be worn during any season!


3-D Felted Flowers

Learn the art of wet-felting while creating a two-dimensional flower. Students will have enough time and supplies in this class to experiment and make a few different varieties of flower!


School Loom Intro

In this intro to weaving class, students will learn the basics of using a Schacht School Loom to weave a small tapestry! Students will learn to warp their loom, weave their project, and remove it from the loom – all in one day! The instructor will discuss different yarns to use in order to achieve the best project results as well as some ideas for additional projects that can be made on the School Loom!


Drop Spindle Basics

In this intro to spinning class, students will use a drop spindle to learn the in’s and out’s of hand-spinning — we’ll examine different fiber types, spinning techniques, and twist options, in order to create your own skein of yarn! Over 2 two-hour classes, students will practice drafting, spinning, plying, skeining, measuring, and finishing their skeins.
