Join us for an informal knitalong as we make the Knitters’ Brewing Co. mystery socks, Cocktails for Two. A mystery knitalong means that no one but the designer (and she’s in California) knows what the finished product looks like. She’s releasing the pattern for free on Ravelry in six installments, and at the end we’ll have a great pair of socks! This is the sixth year Knitters’ Brewing has done a mystery sock, and they always turn out beautifully. They also tend to include unusual techniques that stretch your knitting vocabulary.
The clues are scheduled for release every Friday beginning on 31 January and ending on 7 March, though sometimes the Ravelry group weasels them out of her a couple days early. Regardless, we will be meeting every Saturday after scheduled clue releases from 3:30-5PM to discuss techniques and help each other with the pattern. Please note that this is NOT a learn to knit socks class; this is just an informal group to discuss new techniques that come up in this pattern. We recommend that you have already made a pair of socks before tackling this challenge.
Here’s what we know about the pattern so far:
Come knit along with us! The first meeting is Saturday 1 February at 3:30PM
